Stockholm, 29 October 2026 – Swedish AI startup Pixel Systems has raised $3.1 million in a seed round led by Unconventional Ventures, at a pre-money valuation of approximately $21 million. The capital will be used to accelerate the company's commercial initiatives and continue building the technology that helps businesses identify AI-generated and manipulated images, documents, and other digital material.
The funding comes just months after the company was founded, as Pixel Systems sees rapid commercial traction. Three weeks after its commercial launch, Pixel Systems has reached its first $100,000 in contracted recurring revenue.

Pixel Systems is building a verification layer for a world where convincing fake images, receipts, documents, and other digital evidence can be created in seconds.
At the core of Pixel is proprietary digital forensics technology, combined with leading external verification techniques in a single layer. Pixel is used today in businesses where digital material forms the basis for financial decisions, including insurance, fintech, e-commerce, and professional services.
Use cases include manipulated damage photos in insurance claims, fabricated receipts and invoices, AI-generated product images in refund fraud, and manipulated material in financial or legal processes.

The team behind Pixel Systems consists of senior engineers, AI specialists, and competitive programmers. The capital from the round will be used to build out the commercial organization, scale sales and partnerships, and prepare Pixel Systems' expansion into international markets.
