This Cookie Policy explains what Pixel Systems AB ("Pixel," "we," "us," or "our") stores on your device when you use our website and our web app, why we store it, and how you can control it. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data more generally.
This policy covers our public website at pixelsystems.com and the Pixel web app you sign in to.
We set nothing on your device that measures you. No analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, no tracking pixels, no session recording, and no third-party measurement of our own.
What we do store falls into two groups: what is needed to sign you in and keep you signed in, and what remembers a preference you set yourself. Neither requires your consent under European rules, which is why you do not see a cookie banner on our site. We would rather not show you a consent dialog that has nothing to ask you about.
One exception: our booking page runs on Google Calendar, which sets Google's own cookies. Section 4 has the details.
If anything else changes, this page changes with it, and we would ask for your consent before storing anything that needed it.
Signing you in. When you log in to the web app, we store a cookie that keeps you signed in as you move between pages, and one that records which organization you are working in. Without these, you would have to log in again on every page. They last up to seven days, and signing out removes them. The sign-in cookie is set for pixelsystems.com and its subdomains, which is what lets both the website and the app see it. Our public website reads whether this cookie is present, so the menu can offer you "Open app" instead of "Log in" when you are already signed in. It does not read anything else about you.
Remembering your preferences. When you change something about how a page looks or behaves, we store that choice so it survives your next visit. This covers things like light or dark appearance and whether you collapsed a side menu, and, in the app, which items you have already acted on so we do not show you the same prompt twice. Preferences are stored either as a cookie lasting up to seven days or in your browser's own storage, which stays until you clear it or sign out.
We keep this description at the level of what each group is for rather than listing every individual cookie by name. A list of names goes out of date the moment we rename something, and an out-of-date policy is worse than a clear one. If you would like the full technical list, ask us at the address below and we will send it.
Our booking page runs on Google Calendar. Opening it lets Google set its own cookies on your device, including cookies Google uses for advertising. Those are Google's cookies, not ours, and they are governed by Google's Privacy Policy rather than this one. If you would rather not have Google set anything, email sales@pixelsystems.com instead and we will arrange a time directly.
No other page on our website or in our web app loads content from a third party.
Every major browser lets you see the cookies a site has set, delete them, and block new ones. Those controls are in your browser's settings, usually under privacy or site data, and they apply whether or not a site offers its own controls.
Clearing or blocking our cookies is safe. The only effect is practical: if you block the sign-in cookies, the web app cannot keep you signed in, and if you clear your preferences, pages return to their defaults.
We will update this page when what we store changes, and post a new "Last updated" date. If we ever introduce something that requires your consent, we will ask for it before storing anything, rather than announcing it here after the fact.
