Drag and drop

Verify file authenticity quickly, by dragging and dropping files into the upload area. Best for quick verification of a few files that you have access to.

Upload and verify files

Once you have your application set up, you can start verifying files immediately. The upload process is designed to be as simple as possible.Open your application in the dashboard and select Upload. Drop files onto the upload area, paste them, or click to browse from your device. The Upload page of an application in the Pixel dashboard, showing an area that accepts dropped, pasted, or browsed files.

Supported file types

Pixel supports a wide range of image formats including JPEG, PNG, HEIC, and more. Simply drag and drop your files into the upload area, or click to browse and select files from your device.

Upload process

Each file shows upload progress while it transfers, and the dashboard takes you to the results when the uploads finish. Dashboard uploads need no API key: signing in is what authorises them.

View verification results

After the verification process completes, you'll see detailed results that help you understand whether your file is authentic or has been manipulated.Open Jobs in your application sidebar and select a completed job. The result shows the file, the headline assessment, and each signal that contributed to it.A completed job in the dashboard: the assessed image beside an AI Generated verdict, with results for AI detection, manipulation detection, web matches, and photorealism.

Understanding your results

The headline assessment at the top is the verdict your workflow acts on. Under Results, each signal reports separately: AI detection, manipulation detection, web matches, and photorealism. Signals can disagree, and seeing which one fired is what makes a verdict defensible rather than a single opaque number.

Result interpretation

Read the signals together rather than in isolation. A file flagged as AI generated and manipulated is a stronger case than one signal alone, and a web match can explain where a file came from. Expand Details for the file's metadata and the job's identifiers, which are the same values the API returns.
